The Safeguard Mini-Storage project represents the growth happening in Nanaimo. The building is approximately 60,000 square-feet but what truly makes this project stand out is it’s the first project Fisk Construction Inc. carried out during the COVID-19 pandemic. Being able to quickly adapt to increased health and safety protocol while staying on-time and on-budget is something our team is incredibly proud of.

Falcon Equipment presented a distinctive challenge of upgrading an industrial, award-nominated design to fit into a commercial area.
Ford’s Cove Resort, Restaurant & Store
Date: 2017
Location: Hornby Island
Project Type: Resort Renovation, Restaurant relocations, replaced store and added addition
The Fords Cove project had a unique and challenging design-build. The project required exceptional planning and coordination as the location is on a secluded island and temporarily closing the business was not an option. We are happy to report that we were not only able to complete the project in a timely and budget-friendly manner, but business was completely uninterrupted during the process.
Harbour City Animal Hospital

Project Type: Tenant improvement from the existing building.
The Harbour City Animal Hospital was converted from an existing building, a plumbing contractor’s office/shop, to a fully functioning animal hospital. The obstacle faced going into this project was going from a trades building in rough condition and turning it into a clean, welcoming medical office, complete with a full run of medical technology, including x-ray and ultrasound equipment.
